REVIEWING EVIDENCE
ALL MEMBERS AND INVESTIGATORS PLEASE READ
OK Everyone. Here are some basic guidelines when reviewing evidence.
1) Stay Alert. I know it boring. If the video has no audio, listen to music. This helps me.
2) Note the time index for all anomalies, no matter how insignificant. If the video contains the actual time index (usually in a crappy green) then please use it. If not then use the time index in your browser. If the effect or event continues for more than 4 second, please note the end time index.
3) You should use a note pad or the forum or word on a separate screen to note all the things you find. No matter how small. Don't try to identify it. Keep going and finish the video. Then post your findings and that your are going back to investigate and be specific about everything. This way other members can begin helping to identify the anomalies in the video or audio clip while you are looking at it.
4) Feel free to interject your opinion, however, remember that it is just that, your opinion. It's no better than any one else's. Remember opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one and they all stink!!!!
5) Remember to document everything in the forum. These threads are our research notes. Please make complete notes. It is very important.
6) Remember you can use WMP to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, run speed, and various other video attributes while the video is playing. This might help. There are much better programs available out there.
If you have any problems or questions please post them in this thread and we will help you!!! _________________

Ian,
I have some worthy EVP's than I want to extract from files. I've managed to upload them onto my PC from the DVR; however, how do I go about recording "JUST the EVP" from the file? I've downloaded a few EVP Software Programs, but have yet to get this to work for me.
Thanks for any help! _________________ "When In Distress ~ Call SOS"
